Hello! This might be a little early, but I wanted to create a group for those applying to Texas Tech ABSN 2024. With applications due in the coming months, I was hoping to have this space for anyone to submit tips or questions that may come up. Thanks!

does anyone know if anyone has heard of TTUHSC granting an exemption for the COVID-19 vaccine? I know it says they don't require it, but wondering if any hospitals don't require it. I've have/have gotten a medical exemption before but not sure if any of the partner hospitals would allow it.

I know the hospitals take it very seriously, at least where I have worked! Not sure of the exact partner hospitals though!

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good CNA program near Dallas or Austin? Preferably mostly online

I went through Legacy Career Institute in Carrollton. It was mostly online, but had to go in for skills and then the check offs!

They've sent out approvals as of two days ago but they're still getting approvals/denial letters for the next week. Good luck to you though.
