Texas Tech 2nd Degree 2016 Cohort?

I can't remember when I got invited for an interview last year but my interview was on Aug. 28th for the Austin location. I think I found out about a week before. It feels like a lifetime though! Hopefully we find out just a tad bit sooner this year

@Irish_mist I'm not sure what are stats were as we never really discussed it. My TEAS was a 92%, Science GPA 4.0, Cumulative GPA 3.98. However, I would not go off of others' stats because each person is different. You could have lower test scores get an interview and rock it, and you're in, or have high scores and grades, socially awkward in the interview and not get in. Not saying that they do not contribute but it is definitely not the only deciding factor!

Hey everyone! I thought I wouldn't hear back until mid August but I received an email already on Friday that i have an interview on 8/10 at the Dallas campus (even though i applied for the Austin location). Did anyone else hear back?

That's awesome @brownsaucey! I didn't find this thread until last week. I have applied to the program in Abilene. I'm anxious to see if I get an interview. No email yet. Good luck on your interview!

Hey guys, I got an email about an interview on Friday and was shocked it came that early...mine is in Dallas too. @brownsaucey, I called them to ask why it was in Dallas (since I"m applying to Austin cohort as well) and they said they are doing all the interviews in Dallas and Lubbock now! So don't worry about that :) Congrats on getting an interview - what time is yours on the 10th? Mine is at 9:40 I think. @beccatap good luck!! Keep us posted!!!

I have also been invited to interview in Dallas on 8/10! I applied for Austin but said I would relocate. Got one foot in the door but I'm still so nervous... Does anyone know how many people are being interviewed as opposed to how many spots are available? :nailbiting:

@km1983, what a relief! I thought that meant Austin wasn't even an option anymore. Are you driving? My interview is at 11am.

I've also been invited for an interview in Dallas!! My interview is on Aug. 10th at 1:05pm. I applied for the Austin cohort and my stats are

Science GPA: 3.75

Overall GPA: 3.56

TEAS: 84%

Gotta start working on that essay! It's due in 2 days!

Got word today that they will be rescheduling the Dallas interviews on the 10th to the 12th. Now I'm just waiting for them to figure out the times and send a new invitation.
