Is it too early to start one? I couldn't find one. Maybe too early?
I am planning on applying to the TT 2nd degree BSN program in May in hopes to begin in January 2017.
Anyone else?? Anyone in the program currently or recently have any info to share??
Thanks!!
Ditto! When any of you start figuring out loan stuff let me know! I filled out my FAFSA....just waiting to see how it all plays out. I talked to the financial aid office today (not sure if I was communicating clearly the program I'm in), and she said that typically students would receive about $6250 loan a semester. Again---this is all new to me so if I'm confusing anyone, it's because I am also a little confused.Anyway, does anyone know realistically how much tuition/fees/books will cost each semester. I know there are figures on the website, but just thought someone might have a friend in the program that can give their figures.
I also completed my fafsa. It sucks that you can't get grants anymore after your 1st degree! Whether you used them for your 1st one or not!
I asked the current student about tuition at my interview. She said she thought hers was about $6-8K a semester. I think that was books/supplies too. I can't fully remember. I asked her A LOT of questions. Haha.
Has anyone else not received their email from [email protected] yet??? I paid my placement fee, but haven't received an email yet.
Hi guys!!! I got an offer of admission to ABSN TTU Dallas and I just have a question for y'all future nurses.
If you accept the offer and pay the placement fee to save your spot, does that mean like a binding contract where you are obligated to take the program and that you wont have the option of declining the program in case you change your mind at the last minute??
I am in quite a dilemma, Texas Tech is my second choice and I'm still waiting on news on my first choice, which is UT Tyler (but I don't really know if I'll get in). Also my offer expires soon… should I go ahead and accept it or nahh?? I'd greatly appreciate yalls advice! Cheers!

If you accept and pay the $100 fee, all that's doing is saving your "seat". It's not like a binding contract or anything, and if you do end up going to UTT all you have to do is kindly let TTU know that unfortunately your plans have changed and you will not be attending. It's really no biggie.
