I’m not sure if it’s too early to start this thread, but anyone on here planning on applying to Texas Tech’s Second Degree program in May?

The program starts SPR semester, 01/2021, and ends FALL 12/2021. BC is during the first month. Also, in case anyone doesn't know, there are typically 4 classes conducted at a time in lieu of 12-hour hospital shifts twice a week (post-BC).

Yes I get that but December 9 is that the boot camp date because boot camp is 2 weeks long or just the date that the orientation is held

Howdy! You should be receiving an email today! I have my interview today and received an additional information email yesterday. Best of luck.

I'm not tracking a 12/9 date (however, it's probably orientation). I'm referencing what a former grad/friend has told me about BC and the various webinars that mention it. It's discussed in this link (start at 19:30). https://app4.ttuhsc.edu/mediahub/ViewMedia.aspx?partnerid=661662&uiconfid=11797272&entryid=0_1xs4x65q&ssl=false

That’s just orientation. They told me that is the day we meet the preceptors and they decide who will be assigned to who.

The 12/9 date is mentioned in the information they send you before the interview. It is an orientation day. Some people have it on the 11th. It depends on the location to which you are placed.

Thanks, I never saw that email. If it was sent the day they sent 300+ emails, it was probably deleted. It'll be confirmed within acceptance letters.

You’ve got this? The interviewers are very kind and welcoming. They want to see you succeed. Prepare, practice, smile, and look into the camera!
