I’m not sure if it’s too early to start this thread, but anyone on here planning on applying to Texas Tech’s Second Degree program in May?

My guess is, second wave invites go out tomorrow. That’ll allow for the same allotted time, as first wave got, to get things in order before your interview next week.

Just to make sure, we are not supposed to do anything with the background check until after we are accepted? He was talking really fast while I was in the breakout room.

I didn’t catch the instruction on this either, but just a heads up, it takes approx. two weeks (without delays) to receive your blue card in the mail. Also, depending on where you live, it may be difficult to schedule an appointment with IdentoGO within the same week, so be careful not to fall behind.

I live in Austin and had to drive to Houston in order to get it done ASAP for another school.

I got an interview as well!! Although, I didn't see anything about what location, is that something I should worry about?

Nothing to worry about. I don’t believe there is mention in anyone’s invite.

Good luck on your interviews for those of you in the second wave! Y’all will do great. I was so nervous for my interview, but the interviewers are so kind and welcoming! The questions are simple, so just prepare using standard nursing school interview questions:-)
