I’m not sure if it’s too early to start this thread, but anyone on here planning on applying to Texas Tech’s Second Degree program in May?

Thank you at an99 I hope we all get accepted to Texas Tech as it is a great program that prepares there nurses to work in the field. I applied there also just in case I wasn't accepted to Tech. I'm sure you will love nursing, OT is awesome as well I have a friend that is graduating from TWU in the Fall great career as well.

@bvv I am curious as well there is not a lot of information we should hear back by this week or next week. I pray we get accepted to Tech and Commerce. Please let me know if you get accepted to Commerce. I will let you know when I hear back as well. They accept 60 people and since we both have our degrees are chances should be good, but you never know who's all applying and what they go really go by

I believe I saw this in previous threads. I already have my CNA, but I obtained it awhile back. Centeal Texas Nurse Network and Dallas Institute of Health.

Hey guys, I’m filling out my application and for the test portion did y’all leave that section blank or add something? Since testing isn’t required due to covid IDK if I should just leave it blank.

Hey guys! Does anyone know TTU's policy on repeated courses? I'm retaking A&P right now. Do they take the highest grade or include all the grades or average the two when calculating the science GPA?

@flows67 they will take the highest grade however all grades ever taken in undergrad will be averaged in cumulative GPA that is what admissions told me.

Great! Also, One of my courses finishes before the July 15 deadline. However, due to COVID, transcript processing times have been affected at my school. I'm worried the grade will be posted right on July 15th. Does anyone have any experience with this/is in a similar situation? Should I reach out to the program directly and explain the situation?
