Texas Tech-Accelerated BSN Spring 2020

I haven't seen a thread for those of us applying May 1st to the January 2020 cohort. I'm wondering how heavily they weigh the TEAS. Also, I have heard as long as you meet all criteria they typically give you an interview. Has anyone else heard this? I really like how they take a holistic approach to grant admissions. I'm wanting to apply to UTA but I feel like the main way you get extra points is by attending school there which I did not do! We'll see!

I’m kinda sad I have no one to start an Odessa group with ☹️ Someone be my friend out here in the desert!

There is another Lubbock group page on FB that some have already joined! Not sure which one people want to use, but it honestly doesn’t matter!

Anyone know what the bootcamp schedule will look like in January? I know we'll get some information soon, but I'm just eager and want to prepare for the year/see if I can fit in *any* work time.

If I remember correctly boot camp is Tues. - Fri. from like 8 or 9 in the morning to about 4 or 5 (depending on what’s being taught that day, it just depends). You’ll be in class during the morning for lecture and then you’ll be in SIM lab for the remainder of the day.

Okay, cool! I'm hoping I can work ~15ish hours a week, I guess we'll see. Anyone else thinking about working a little while in school?
