Texas Tech-Accelerated BSN Spring 2020

I haven't seen a thread for those of us applying May 1st to the January 2020 cohort. I'm wondering how heavily they weigh the TEAS. Also, I have heard as long as you meet all criteria they typically give you an interview. Has anyone else heard this? I really like how they take a holistic approach to grant admissions. I'm wanting to apply to UTA but I feel like the main way you get extra points is by attending school there which I did not do! We'll see!

Did anyone else get an email from Cindy about their admission letter being linked to the wrong form? I now get a 503 error when I try to open the acceptance form....

I did get an email. it seems Iike we did not need to initiate the HireRight Background checks as stated in the first email.

Ugh. I got the new admission letter, but had already paid for the background check because it said it needed to be completed in 3 days. Dang it, I don't think I needed to do it.

I was waitlisted for Dallas.

I had already paid for it too... I called HireRight they said the school has to call them to cancel it, so I will send Cindy an email.

I redone for the admission letter after receiving email from Cindy; I also paid for HireRight besides IdenToGo as I did not know it's not necessary.

How do we do next?

I got an email that said I had a portal update. So I had to go in and review a letter. I was offered abilene, odessa, san antonio or amarillo. said dallas was full. So i had the option to accept the other locations or stay waitlisted for dallas until 10/15. That's when it all closes. I chose to stay waitlisted.

HireRight says the school has to call them to cancel it, so if anyone who paid can send Cindy an email. I just did but no response from her yet

Is someone starting a facebook group for the San Antonio location? Also, that email from Cindy about gave me a heart attack because I thought it was something other than the HireRight background check haha.
