Reaching out to see if anyone else has applied to Texas State's PMHNP MSN program or is currently attending. Its a new program in Round Rock, TX that opened up Spring 2019. I got accepted into their Fall semester entrance and just wanted to see if anyone can provide some insight into the program or the school in general. Thanks!

I'm in the same program starting this fall as well. It seems to be a very busy program if you are doing it full time. Have you found preceptor yet?

Awesome, great to hear from someone else in the program. No, I haven’t yet! Could you send me your email so that I can ask you a couple questions about the program?

I also got into the Fall 2019 PMHNP program. I called today to see what the on campus requirements were and I was told 2-3X's each semester (friday and Saturday). The program is so new of course they don't have what their pass rate for certification is. I'm torn between this program with concurrent class and clinicals vs another program with courses all at the beginning.

Hi Y'all! I applied on the very last day and am waiting to find out if I get accepted to TSU. I live in the Valley... where do you all live and how long did it take to find out if you were accepted? I am also looking into another private college that does not have campus visits or concurrent clinicals.

Applied June 10th! Would like to get in because the part time option allows me to still keep my full-time, M-F job for the first semester at least. Plus the tuition compared to my other PMHNP program is much cheaper! Hoping for the best. Good luck everyone ?

How long did it take for you to get a response?
