This forum is for Fall 2014 applicants at the Round Rock campus. Deadline is fast approaching, January 15, so get your applications in. Feel free to share any questions, concerns, tips with your peers. What made you decide on nursing? What previous health care experience do you have? What is your current science GPA, overall GPA, and TEAS score? What is your previous degree, if any?

Tell me about it... I just wanna walk straight into the SON admissions office and demand that they tell me my admissions status. We are about 3 weeks away from being notified, so I would expect that they already know who they are going to accept by now.

I submitted my application on January 13th, on February 4th I got an email saying that my application was recieved and that I needed to initiate the background check proccess; the email also requested that I respond to verify that I recieved the Fastpass which was attached to the email and is needed to schedule the fingerprinting appointment. I did the finger printing on the 14th and recieved my blue postcard in the mail last week.

My science GPA is 4.0, overall GPA 3.85, TEAS reading 95.2%, math 93.3%, science 89.6%, english 93.3% and composite 92.7%.

Haven't heard anything since submitting my blue postcard but will post immediately if I do. The suspense is horrible!

Alright everyone who's received background check notifications, what are y'all's GPA?! And teas?! I'm trying to figure out if they are going down the line... And what GPA we are at...

If you look back at the pervious comments I think they already have given their stats. All I can think is this will be over in a few more weeks and we will all know where we stand!! Now I just have to distract myself till then.

Does anyone know what the conditions for the "conditional admission" are? I assume the basic conditions have to do with completing the prerequisite courses and submitting vaccination requirements (ect...), but I wondered what the requirements are as far as maintaining GPA goes. Do the prerequisite course have to be finished with a minimum grade of C or do you have to maintain your current GPA? Has anyone heard anything about this?
