I contacted an academic advisor today and asked when we can expect to receive acceptance notification from the SON. She said March 28th! Wish it was sooner, but at least we know when now!

I think you should call them and verify they have your correct contact information and also verify that your application was complete, especially since the deadline was extended. Just tell them you haven't received the background check Fast Pass and you want to verify they have everything. Good luck!

I actually did that exact thing today. I just didn't want to be a pest! I emailed so we shall see.

I'm ******! I thought, based on previous years, that we would know by today at 5pm. So, i've been waiting around all week for friday, just to find out i'd have to wait an additional week! BOOOOOOO BOOOOOO BOOOOO! I hate this!

I haven't gotten a background check email either...so I am also freaking out. I know that my application is complete, and I know I meet the min. req, I have also called to make sure they have the correct contact info, so I thought it was pretty weird.

The only thing I can think is that I have had a few criminal background checks already this year, because of volunteer work at St. David's and Seton, so I'm wondering if they were just able to use those as initial clearance.....I guess Friday will tell...

Sounds like you're in the same boat with roxanna so I wouldn't worry if you know all of your stuff is in. Our blue cards (for passing the background check) aren't due until the end of June so perhaps the lady who sends the fast pass emails is backed up from spring break or something.

I have a good feeling we will all make it :)
