Texas PMHNP programs

Updated:   Published

Hello All

Applied to Texas State, UTA, MSU and thinking of applying to Texas Tech as well. I've noticed the program credit hours vary from 40-49 hours and not sure which program has the best reputation for preparing you for a career as a clinician. It's appealing to get it done but I want to be safe and well prepared as an NP. Of course cost and how much on campus time required are two things I am looking at as well. I work M-F in an outpatient Psychiatric health clinic as an RN.

Any feedback about experience with school and fulltime job would be great. What should I look for in a good PMHNP online program? Also, please PM me if you have specific information or experience regarding the programs I listed above. Really appreciate your help!

How are you liking the Texas State PMHNP program? TIA.

I was at West Coast. Took leave and considering TEXAS state to finish. Is the program doable for the working adult? Weekly assignments/Discussion boards? feedback appreciated?
