I'm totally new to this and I am amazed at all the information this web site provides! Is anyone else on here going to be applying for the TTU Traditional Nursing Program for the Fall 2012 semester? Also, I need to take intro to nursing and pathophysiology this Spring. Is it best just to take it at Tech? Any input would be most helpful! :D

I haven't received my formal offer either lol! My name is Pamela, but I go by Nikki (short for middle name Nicole) :) I cannot wait to meet you guys!!! :-D

my merlin still shows no status and i haven't received my formal offer yet. i know it's coming soon, but i can't help but worry. i don't think i have ever checked my email so much in my life. lol

I have everything done but intro to nursing and pathophysiology, which I'll be taking through TTU during the summer

@Mchicky24, don't worry, I don't think anyone from the Lubbock campus has received their formal offer yet (me included) and my Merlin says the same thing. ;)

Hi Jennifer and Nikki! It is nice to meet you guys! It is kind of intimidating thinking of moving to a new town and not really knowing anyone :o --But it will be a ok because we will all have our fellow nursing students! Yep, still no offer here either. I am thinking we should def have it by friday?! @ RedRaiderStudent I went to UTA so I already took patho, pharm, and intro to nursing. phew Although I am pretty sure they will make me take pharm again lol darn.. It's ok because it's been a good while since I took that class. Are u taking your prereq online for tech?

AGG I am starting to worry a bit about our formal offers. I am sure we will get it some time this week! I have checked my email multiple times-- fearing that perhaps I did not get in after all. lol Oh btw my name is Sarah. I don't think I really ever 'introduced' myself. Do you know if there is just one orientation for all of the nursing students? I mean there are just 120 of us :) I can't wait to meet everyone at orientation!! I am like 95% sure I am going to tech now!! YESSS We will have many days of studying ahead of us! But I am sure we can do it! I actually had to take pharmacology at UTA so I still have my book, notes, and video lectures which I am more than willing to share if they actually prove useful for our second semester!! I think our best bet is to start studying earlyyy!! :D

You are not alone... I've checked my e-mail 4 times today. Still nothing. But I think your right, we SHOULD have something this week. Hopefully! Haha, I too have that fear of dreams shredding and encountering an "Oops, sorry!" message. As for orientation, I don't actually know but am guessing each campus' will be different? Since their response deadline is so soon. Just a guess though.

Yay! I am glad your MOST likely coming to Tech :yelclap:

On that note, plus sharing helpful information, lets just agree to study groups now? lol!

Jumping in on the pre-requisite action, I will finish up the last of my classes this semester! I am currently taking Pathophysiology and Introduction into Nursing. I'd be happy to share insider course and teacher info, just let me know!

Yes I'm going to take them online, I just have to wait until they allow me to register. I just hope I'm able to get in the courses before they're filled! Lol!

lol, i know how it is checking your email! on the merlin website have you actually clicked on the admission status tab, bc mine didn't show anything until i clicked on the tab?

call them! i could not take it anymore so i just called and they send me the official offer...
