Thank you for the info! & yes, I just graduated from Texas Tech. Thanks again for replying, I appreciate it! :) I'm probably going to be moving to the Stone Oak area, but am willing to drive wherever to find a job.

I am a new nurse, I just graduated in May and passed my NCLEX. So, I don't have any experience and I am going to be moving to San Antonio. THere are so many hospitals and I don't even know where to start. Can anyone tell me if certain hospitals do or don't hire new nurses and just any recommendations any of y'all have? Also, if you know anything about benefits that would be great. I looked online, but only a couple had their benefits listed. Thank you so much! Sorry, I just don't even know where to start.

I'm currently a senior in the Lubbock program and I got in with a 3.3 GPA, no volunteer experience, & we didn't have to take the TEAS at the time! Sorry, I don't know if that helps you or not. Another person I know got in with a 2.9 GPA in the Lubbock campus& I think that's the lowest that I've heard of. I only know about the Lubbock campus, but from what I understand it is more competitive than the other campuses. So, hopefully that helps! :)

I'm currently a junior at the nursing program in Lubbock and its possible! There's a lot of girls in our program that are also in sororities!

I started August 22nd!! It's a lot of work, but I like it so far! :)

I already live in Lubbock and I would recommend looking at renting a duplex or small house. I'm renting a two bedroom duplex right now for a little over $600, rent houses are pretty cheap in Lubbock compared to other places.

@haboubkar Mine was just in Merlin too. Did you receive an email or anything? Because I didn't, I just checked a couple of days ago and it was there for me to accept and pay the $100.

I'm also really excited! I think we have to wait until orientation to buy scrubs, because I think the students wear red scrubs with their name inscribed? I'm not positive about that though.

Nevermind, I just logged into Merlin and I could accept there. But, I never received an email? So, everyone else just make sure to check Merlin, because it might be there. :)

@Jahi What did they say when you called? Just that they would send you an official offer? And then you got one in an email?
