Has anyone applied or heard of the TLU ABSN program in New Braunfels, TX? Does anyone know the reputation/ competitiveness of the school? Thanks in advance.

Nurse labs dosage cal practice questions. Find YouTube videos and pick what method you like using to solve it and practice, practice, practice ! I would say start a thread here and find others that are joining fall as well and make a gc.

How do I go about making a thread? I did one and no one responded to me. I was wondering about the breakdown of each semester. Is first semester September through December?

I feel like I want to make the right decision for me, but I'm torn because they are both good schools. My goal is to choose the right school that will make me feel supported and also help me become a good nurse.
Same. I am torn between the in person experience and an online experience. I feel like online you would be less supported but I have been hearing the opposite and the people in that cohort have already made a facebook group, a thread on here, and also a group me. A group me even started by a cohort who is about to graduate soon, and they created it to just talk to us and give us tips and advice. That could just be due to Baylor having more cohorts than TLU.

I haven't seen any thread on here about the tlu program, nor thread, nor groupme or facebook group. I truly don't know too much about tlu houston program and I wish I had more information

I think the best we can do is either create one for facebook if that is where we end up going and then read previous threads on here, which I think is just this one! It has helped me though. ?

It definitely has helped me too! I feel like as of now, I'm leaning towards tlu, but I'm still waiting on hearing back from Ust. Did you get into Baylor and tlu?
Any current TLU students have comments on their program? I'm applying for January start and wanted to know about how many hours outside of class you find that you need to study? Trying to get a feel for the time commitment of this program outside of the full-time class/clinicals.
Thanks!
@Pinkfairywrld Hi!! I am applying for the Summer 2024 ABSN too! I haven't finished my application yet, but am planning on attending this program if accepted! Let me know if you end up choosing this program as well. Would love to already know someone beforehand! ☺️
