Creating this thread to see if anyone else has applied to the Feb 2021 residencies for Texas Health in DFW and if anyone has had any updates!
Just now, JJJohnston said:Just so you know, that was not your contract. It was you accepting the position. You do not sign your contract until after you pass your NCLEX-RN.
Hey JJ!! It's Amber from Med-Surg! I didn't know that. It was 15 pages long! LOL! Can't imagine how long the contract must be then ?. I did already pass the NCLEX though. I was holding out for my dream residency ☺️

I have passed NCLEX as well, and accepted offer. (Don’t think it was a contract) now I’m confused LOL.

You’ll know it’s a contract haha. You have to do it in person I believe, and it’s has terms of your employment in it. When I got my offer I spoke with the recruiter specifically about it and she said they give us until after our boards and until January so that we can back out before we’re contractually bonded to it.

A bit concerned about my living situation and just wondering if I could come back later and decline if need be?
It’s not binding yet... you’ll be binding when you sign the actual contract in January.
