Does anyone happen to know what the shift differentials are for THR? ? I forgot to ask

I saw in another thread that the Southwest location shift differentials were $4 for weekday evenings (7-11p), $4.25 for nights (11p-7a), weekend days ($6), weekend evenings ($9). and weekend nights ($10). I assume it’s the same throughout Texas Health.

Does anyone know if you get shift differential pay while doing residency, or just after you’ve completed the residency? Also, does the $26.50 stay the same after you complete residency?

Do they pay the same for ADN and BSN in the residency?

Thank you!

I think we will be under the education budget during residency, so shift diffs won’t begin until it’s completed. (Not sure) & yes pay should increase when we are promoted from resident to RN.

I accidentally responded up there. LOL

I accepted an OR residency at THRFW!! Does anyone know if we are supposed to wait to schedule the post offer health appointment, until closer to start, or should we do that now?

I was told to wait until they contacted you 30 days prior to the start date.

Thanks! I ended up reaching out to the onboarding navigator and she told me the same thing. I think the recruiters are supposed to mention this but they sometimes forget.

Hey people who received an offer! How long did they give you to accept the offer?

Also, did you guys have to sign a contract immediately or are you still looking at other places just in case?

I didn't ask how long I had to sign the contract since it is the exact position I wanted. The contract was available almost immediately so I signed it rather quickly. I was offered a job with Medical City before this and they gave me a few days to think about it . Not sure if THR does the same, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Just so you know, that was not your contract. It was you accepting the position. You do not sign your contract until after you pass your NCLEX-RN.
