Texas GN residency 2014-2015 DFW area

January 2015 Internships will be available for application

Anyone know any other residency application hospital dates ? Like Parkland, THR, HCA, JPS, Methodist, VA, etc.

I applied on the 16th and received the email that it had moved up on the 18th but nothing else yet. I've got about a years experience as well but don't know if that's good or bad  Let's all keep each other updated with the process so as not to be sitting here anxiously waiting! Good luck and God bless!!!

My ER and CardioPul-ICU applications for Parkland got moved up to the hiring manager yesterday, haven't heard nothing else. Still waiting on JPS. I have a phone interview for HCA within the next week or so. Any luck with anybody else ? Praying we will all hear good news at least before the New Year.

Anybody received the dosage calculation email for SICU yet? I have not, just wondering!

@RNbeccaafaith I received one for the OR about 3 weeks ago but nothing for the SICU or any of the other positions.

I have two interviews scheduled for HCA Denton Regional... so we will see how it goes. It's a distance from Arlington but I'll take anything I can get right now. Anybody else hear anything from any other hospitals ?

Any updates on JPS or Parkland?

The recruiter called me today from JPS. She said they've been busy hiring their internal applicants and they have very limited external positions. But she did state they just started looking at the externals this week or so. So hopefully we might hear something by next week maybe. I'm not sure though. I would try to call or email just to get your name in the mix just in case.

Thanks for sharing @msg88. By any chance do you remember the recruiters name?

I just sent you a PM! Check your inbox. Also THR posted a few GN positions today.

I think some methodist internships are still posted for those interested. I was lucky to get a spot but i know last I checked there were still some posted! Grab them before they are gone!

Specializes in MICU.

Anyone know how many residents the SICU is hiring this round? I just had my interview but completely forgot to ask.

Hello! I know this is an old thread but I was wondering if any of you have advice on good apartment complexes to live in? I will be working at Baylor downtown. Doesn't have to be downtown apt but preferably not more than a 30 minute commute (with traffic)... Thanks!
