Anyone know any other residency application hospital dates ? Like Parkland, THR, HCA, JPS, Methodist, VA, etc.

They sent mine to the hiring manager for SICU. I still haven't heard from JPS or HCA. This process is so draining lol.

@msg88 I feel you. I haven't heard from JPS either and I haven't seen anybody post anything about it. HCA sent me an email yesterday to do a personality nursing assessment for one of the positions in Lewisville. But other then that I haven't heard anything from any of the hospitals... I've applied for over 20 positions and I can't even get a phone call or interview smh.

I think a lot of it has to do with how saturated hospitals are with applications. They have a lot to choose from and a lot of the time its easier to interview and hire local people. Which sucks because i don't want to stay in the city i went to nursing school in.

@ mbaseyscott What nursing school do you or did you go to? I'm at Mizzou, and even though I really want to return to Dallas I think staying in the city where you went to nursing school at has some advantages since you are working at those hospitals , doing all of your clinicals there, etc. I"ve already received two offers out here on the floor in which I tech at and the floor where I'm doing my practicum on.

I go to SFA in Nacogdoches. I know it would be easier because I'm already familiar with how things are run but its a super small city so you don't get to see any exciting cases, they get flown off to Houston.

I did an assessment for Denton yesterday for their location. So we will see. I went to El Centro and did my clinicals at THR facilities but THR has barely posted anything as far as GN positions. But they love to hire internal than external.

Nothing from Parkland or JPS.. I tried to email the jps recruiter no response yet.

Parkland has sent me two of the generic responses via email which states my application has been moved up...Under review by hiring manager for both sicu and L&D. No email for interview or anything yet.
