Texas CRNA 2021 Application

Hi everyone! Haven't seen a thread for this application cycle so just thought I'd start one. I am applying to UTHealth, Baylor, TCU, and LSU for 2021 start.

My stats are:

GPA: 3.60

GRE: 315 (Q 158/V 157/W 4.5)

CCRN: 104/125

BLS/ACLS/PALS

1.5 years MICU/SICU

So nervous!! (especially for those interviews!!)

Specializes in CVICU.

I submitted in October, but I don’t think my GRE scores were uploaded until about two weeks ago. I thought about messaging Amanda, but I’ve already bothered her way to much. LOL

Has anyone had an update in their Texas Wesleyan application? Mine still has a "submitted" status.

I interviewed in October and I'm waitlisted. My status has never changed from "submitted".

How was the interview process for TWU? I am anxiously waiting for an interview. Is there anything I should be focusing on to prepare? Emotional intelligence, Patho-phys, drugs, ICU exam etc.?

Pretty much 90% clinical. They jumped right in with cardiac questions right off the bat in mine. Covered disease processes and several drugs and hit other areas besides just cardiac.

Just got an email for a Jan interview!! Dates are as previously stated in another comment (Jan 11-14). Be on the lookout if you’re waiting!!
