Sorry I cannot help but want to clarify, because when I was applying I used this website so much and used everything said here as direction for my application. So I want to clarify for future students. They mean it was not a competition among the people in the same group interview, because they determine whether to accept anyone based on that person's performance, not how other persons in the same group interview performed. For example, they can accept all three in a 3 person group interview, they can also decline all three in a 3 person group interview. That's what they meant. For this year, the second round of interview has 105 interviewee. they take around 60 out of the 105 interviewee. they had 350 applications for the second round of interview. They said there were plenty of seats , which means the first round only took about half of the seats and second round of interviewees all have pretty fair chances of getting in, not meaning having plenty of seats for all interviewees. Texas Wesleyan has the largest class in the whole nation. They have always been like this. This year is not different from past years.

Hi, I saw this post when I was answering your question in the other post. I recently has a friend that got into the same school as me. He got his 1st choice clinical. he has very similar stats as yours. actually yours is somewhat better. I think you can definitely get in because he did. But you need to do good on your interview, which he did. Please do not get discouraged. this path is hard but you can do it!

I don't think Texas Wesleyan is online. for example, the first year 12 months is fully on campus. when you say online, people do think it's like some online degree and I think that could be misleading. say TCU, the first 9 months is fully online but nobody calls it online program and it is a very good program. 100% online can have a negative connotation and misleads future students and I read through the whole thing and found out a lot of future students commenting here. It hurts me to see people say not accurate things about my school and harm its reputation. Thank you!

They sent me an email first in which told me there is an important update to my application. I logged in the new application portal and have the letter there.

On the front page, there were my the acceptance letter ( assigned clinical site in the letter), and all the other documents they are waiting for me to do such as my background check, malpractice insurance form and 1500 deposit. I have been in your shoes and totally understand it. Pray for your good news!

no, I just interviewed on Tuesday 1/12. During my interview, I was told they still had 59 seats open and had 105 interviewees. They will waitlist a small amount of people just in case some people reject their acceptance.

I got my acceptance letter around 1030 today

Yes they send out an email. It’s not in the junk email! So I guess this new system is working better! It just says there is an important update in your application portal. When I logged in to the new application portal, everything was already there ! Feels like it’s still early ! Good luck to you !
