  1. I was waitlisted on the 20th and found out I got in on the 27th.
  2. Congratulations! Are you going to accept it since it wasn’t a clinical site in your top picks?
  3. Did anyone get any news over the weekend?
  4. I got an email on the 20th. I am an alternate. Disappointed, but I still might have a slight chance. Atleast that’s what I’m hoping for!
  5. Hey @Bearree how long did the school give you guys to pay the deposit for the seat?
  6. @tah37 I have not yet. I interviewed yesterday. Trying not to get discouraged. ?
  7. @AspiringSRNAThis is my first year applying. That was with another school. Union is my number 1 choice but keeping my options open as well. That interview was very heavy on clinical questions related to cardiac and pulm since I work CVICU, a scenario type question and a few personal questions.
  8. @AspiringSRNA Thanks for your reply. I always write things down even during job interviews. I wanted to have a few questions written down to ask them that was specific to Union and be able to write their answers down, but I didn’t know if having pen and paper would get me in trouble. I don’t want to mess anything up because Union is my number one choice. I tried to go without it in my last interview and thought I could remember what all they told me and ended up not remembering a darn thing due to nerves after the zoom session. Haha
  9. Are we allowed to have pen and paper during these virtual interviews? I want to be able to write stuff down but not sure if it’s allowed or not since they can’t see what you’re writing.
  10. @CowboyMedicdo you mind sharing what school you got into? I’ve been seeing your posts the previous year in some of the forums and we have similar stats. I’ve been so discouraged but Im thinking about applying this year and am super nervous about it. Thanks in advance.
  11. Hi guys, I really want to become a CRNA, however, my GPA isn't the greatest. I have a 3.36 overall GPA. I have 8 years of nursing experience - 1 year of med/surg, 5 in labor and delivery (2.5 of it being travel nursing) and 2 years of current experience in CVICU. I have my CCRN, NRP, ACLS, BLS, PALS, Fetal monitoring. Thinking about getting the CSC and taking a graduate level Stats course soon. I also precept on my unit. GRE is 315. I have over 80 hrs of shadowing CRNAs in different units (peds, OR, OB, outpatient). What else can I do to become more competitive? Do you think I will get in with those stats? Has anyone gotten in with similar stats and if so, what school? Looking for honest constructive criticism and suggestions Thanks for you inputs.
  12. @MICUNURSE901 and @CoreyLJ3 do you guys mind sharing your stats since you got in? I'm considering applying next year but dont know if my application would be considered competitive. Thank you!
  13. @koai19what school did you apply to if you don't mind me asking.
