Texas CRNA Applicants 2020

Hello to all. I am applying to Texas CRNA schools to start in Summer/Fall of 2020 and wanted to start a thread for others who are also applying to be able to communicate and share questions, encouragements, stats etc. So far I have applied to TCU in Ft Worth and Ut Houston. I will be applying to Baylor College of Medicine as well as Texas Wesleyan when the applications open for those schools as well.

As far as stats. I've worked in ICU for 5 years, currently at a mixed ICU that includes Trauma, CVICU, Neuro, Surgery, and Medical ICU. Graduated back in 2014 with my BSN with a 3.6 GPA, CCRN certified, just completed PALS, and taking the GRE next month.

It just says complete and received on the portal. I didn't expect to get an email or hear anything so soon.

Thanks. No I'm in a suburb of Shreveport. The email says I'll receive another email shortly with specific dates and times for an interview.

Got my interview email from TWU earlier this evening! Good luck to everyone! They seem to be moving quickly this year at least for some clinical sites. I selected Lubbock, Harris Health (Dallas), and LSU as my preferred sites because Lubbock is close to home and the other two have a high number of spots available. It says the interview dates will follow soon.

I was lucky enough to receive an interview email from both TCU and Texas Wesleyan. Gained my ICU experience at Methodist Dallas in Neuro. Best of luck to everyone

I got an email last week saying my interview would be October 28-30 sometime. Supposed to expect another email with more details.
