Texas Children's Summer 2020

Published

I wanted to start this for students/first year nurses who are applying at Texas Children's for the summer 2020 cohort, the application should open end of February/March. If anyone has insight to the firm timeline, good contacts, unit specific knowledge, this would be a good place do talk about it!

It's probably an internal email for employees, I think someone on here said they work at tch currently?

I currently work there. I didn't receive the email, I have to check my work email when I get there; they cut our hours severely. I interviewed for the Woodlands EC.

I hope they keep the rest of us in the loop as well! I know it's a hard time for hospitals though ?

for those that got the email what locations did yall apply to

I just think its weird that not everyone got it

For some reason I never got the email when they updated us about more spots being open in the very beginning but I still got an interview so I’m not sure.

That's because almost everyone who got that email didn't get an interview I believe!

I didn’t receive anything either, I applied and interviewed at the Woodlands location. I am just going to Pray and let God take control, I believe in his timing. ? I just wish we would of all heard back.

I got it and I interviewed for TMC hem/onc

Acute care and I got it

Are you guys planning to hold off other hospital commitments & wait for Children's for a decision? I can't decide what to do since I am applying out of state.
