Texas A&M College Station

U.S.A. Texas

Hey Ya'll!

Is anyone here applying, attending or a graduate of Texas A&M? I was just wondering if anyone else was in my shoes wondering what to expect because it is such a new program. Thanks for your help!!

I also have plans to be a nurse practitioner and while the Houston Medical Center gives you excellent contacts and the schools are well known, A&M is coming up in prestige. You well know the reputation and connections that come from being an aggie. I wouldn't worry about Masters programs looking at your BSN degree and giving someone from another school preference because most programs require you to work for a couple years before applying so you'll be able to make contacts in your work which will give you a good recommendation for your masters program.
