I did the same thing! Took my test today and it shut off at 75 questions. I had around the same SATA but I also had a couple math (which scared me to death). Went home and tried the PVT got the "pending" message. Tried it an hour later and got:

Which I'm assuming is the good one. But I too am pessimistic! And I keep checking pearson just in case they changed their mind (how's that for a laugh?)
Fingers crossed we're both on our way to nursing licenses. :)
Crossing my fingers for you, too!!! LOL @ re-checking the Pearson site....I've been doing the exact same thing. Are we OCD or what?!!!! Or perhaps gluttons for punishment! I get a huge lump in my throat when I get to the "next" button. I have yet to hear of the Pearson pop-up be inaccurate in relation to exam results. But, I'm like you, I won't feel it's a definite till I get the word from BON.
If you got this pop-up in the PVT;

That is already a good sign. I took the exam last 1/26. I got that pop-up.
On the 28th, I saw my name in the California BON website. So the PVT works.
I hope what I shared lessened your anxieties. :) Relax you passed!
took NCLEX last week and according to PVT, passed!
however, that was not before leaving the testing center feeling like a total loser! I concur with the OP when she said that it was the most ambiguous test she had ever taken.
also got about 10-13 SATAs (lost count), which are not my forte. had drugs that I had never heard of, so in order to come up with an answer, had to deduce based on what I did know about other drugs.
thanks to allnurses.com for handy mnemonics. they gave us a laminated piece of "scratch paper" and a sharpie-like pen. as soon as I sat down, I wrote down all the lab values in the order that I used to memorize (Mg,P,K,Ca,Cl,Na,pH,HCO3,CO2,O2), the infection control mnemonics, and a couple other things I can't remember right now. these came up repeatedly in the test. as did ABC and maslow.
I got several questions on reflexes, but a classmate (who took it at the same time) had none. go figure.

I felt like it was the most ambiguous test I have ever taken. I had a lot of pharm and around 14-15 SATA questions. I felt like I was guessing on 2/3 of the exam, so when it turned off at 75 questions I did not feel good. This is the worst feeling. I did the Kaplan course and poured my heart and soul into being prepared, and I felt totally thrown off-guard. I tried the PVT and got the "good pop-up" but I'm still worried.
