Test Anxiety

Published

I applied today for a position in HH. I am an RN looking for Per Diem. They told me I needed to take a test.

Please give me an idea what to review in prep for this test. Thank you.

These employment tests are very basic. Different insulin peak action times, lasix, digoxin, some questions focusing on what is done in the home versus in a facility. The majority of the answers can be figured out right then and there by reading carefully and eliminating the obvious. Don't worry about it. Some employers will put the test in your personnel folder without so much as a glance, others will allow you to retake it if you don't do well enough.

Specializes in COS-C, Risk Management.

And most of the time you'll be able to use a drug book and a calculator, as well as scratch paper and pencil.

Specializes in Peds/outpatient FP,derm,allergy/private duty.

They let me take my tests home to complete. But a test for a Case Manager might be different.

agree with the above posters, any of those "tests" i have taken are really basic tests,,,if you are new to home health and there, by chance any oasis questions on it, they don't expect you to know those answers.....don't worry, honestly

Thank you all for your replies. Hopefully all will turn out fine.:yeah:
