Hey ladies hopefully our letters are in the mail. I made an 89 on my hesi , have both classes, but i am out of district. I also have almost all of the classes for ADN except, microbiology. I dont think im applying for Adn this year bc i have already wasted a year applying making the waiting list and not getting in. So if i dont make the LVN program this year, I will be going on to get my bachelors in political science. Which i am finishing up lower level courses this semester for that. I also do not want to retake the HESI for the ADN application since my HESI score is from last years application period in November.

From today on, i will be stalking my post man =]

Oh and i cant remember who asked but I live in Austin, but if i am accepted into the program i will be moving back in with my parents in Pflugerville so i can finish up the year without having to worry about major bills.

CocoaCouture, You made a really good score though- Hopefully you get in. I think everyone has a better chance than I have. And its great that you have a plan B. I havent even thought of my plan B yet and all eggs (or egg) is in one basket haha. Heres to stalking the mail carriers!

Anything yet where you are. I will let everyone know when i get mine (belton)..I have to wait till late though for the mail, it doesnt run until between 4-6pm, geez! haha

I actually get some mail that goes through austin before getting to me for whatever reason, so you never know lol this will be a ling week for all of us though lol

A friend of mine told me the letters wont go out till the 7th, but Im not sure where she got her info or if its trustworthy. I hope they did send them out today though! I cant wait to find out that you ALL got in!

@Cocoacouture, my Micro teacher told us that as of 2015 application period, Micro will no longer be needed for nursing. Apparently Temple College has too many nursing hours, and they cut back clinical time and some of the classes. So, if you dont apply this year, you wont need it for next years application. Mr Clements is who told us. He also told this new class the same thing; my friend Dorothy is in this semester. However, being that I am already an LVN, I would HIGHLY recommend you take it anyway. It really did help me understand lab values and bacteria/antibiotics so much better!

@Ang, I am sure you got in! I have my fingers AND toes crossed for you! Launa made an 82 on her HESI and she got in. Im sure you will be fine! I cant wait to hear your news!

I have 34-37 days left till I know my status, but who is counting right?

And I just realized I accidentally typed 86 for my Hesi score from way back when. That was a typo, I made an 84.

Lol i did that too..only it wasnt a typo, i thought i made an 84 and it was an 82..kind of like how i forget what age i will be next year haha. Thank you for being positive Summer Is micro a pre req or a co req? And the 7th would go with the 2nd week of feb which is what it says on paper, hopefully the chose to send out early...making me shed my hair haha. The spring semester hasnt been as distracting as i hoped it would be.
