Temple College ADN/LVN 2014

I noticed that there has not been a 2014 topic started yet for the Temple College nursing programs. I am getting nervous and want to know if there is anyone out there applying for the same year I am. I will be applying for the ADN and LVN program. So far I have all my pre and co-requisites completed with a 3.76 GPA. I will be taking my hesi test this October, and I also live IN-district. I am nervous and losing sleep over whether or not my scores will be good enough!

@summer, nursing school is starting to seem....scary haha. A good scary, a well worth scary, but..scary haha.

Did TC close early today? Freakin weather!!!!

I'm sorry! I didn't mean to make it sound scary! You should be okay, you have worked as a CNA for 5 years! It was scary for me cause I had NO medical background at all. It's just very strict and by the book, and there are always tests lol no scariness there

They closed at 11:30, I stressed all through a mid term and got a 23!!! On my way up there my windshield kept freezing over on the sides and by the time I was parked, there were flurries coming down, leaving they were still letting people in but said they might be closing early, leaving..the roads SUCK!! Be careful if you have to go out, I slid twice and I was going 40 and 50 mph. 20 mph after I slid the second time haha ( im a wiener) But yes, I think evening classes are cancelled. I didnt even know they had classes on friday and they closed 30 minutes earlier....better have put the mail out haha. I have had enough with this weather especially when I cant drive in it haha

Well, I am assuming the weather has delayed letters. It is so hard to enjoy the weekend not knowing what the decisions were. I really hope we get them at least by Tuesday...

Well, my friend and I were going over scenarios in our heads.

MAYBE they anticipated the weather Friday, and put them in the box to be picked up on Thursday night.. which meant the post office would have got them Friday morning and started processing them. And since you guys are in Hutto, Austin and Belton, MAYBE you will get them Monday!

OR... maybe she threw them in the mail spot Friday, and the mailman came to pick em up at the end of the day, and they didnt get processed till yesterday, therefore will be to you guys on Tuesday!

hehe hopefully they will be there tomorrow. Stupid weather!!!!!!

well, I just semi- moved out the kids and me and am separated now from my husband (crappy week, new year- blah) so Im more anxious now waiting on the letter than I was last week haha. But that was the same thing I was trying to figure out and hope for, either early mail because Im sure they were watching weather or shoved them in the mailbox before leaving (fingers crossed) We still got regular mail Saturday so I know the mail wasnt stopped haha- Hoping for tomorrow. But Im nauseous haha. Back to stalking the mailman ladies :)

Sorry to hear that ang, I've had a horrible January myself. But hopefully this month will be great. I really hope we get the letters tomorrow!!
