Temple College ADN/LVN 2014

I noticed that there has not been a 2014 topic started yet for the Temple College nursing programs. I am getting nervous and want to know if there is anyone out there applying for the same year I am. I will be applying for the ADN and LVN program. So far I have all my pre and co-requisites completed with a 3.76 GPA. I will be taking my hesi test this October, and I also live IN-district. I am nervous and losing sleep over whether or not my scores will be good enough!

AHHH!

Well, I remember when I started LVN school, during the first week, we lost like 6 people to the ADN program, which then were replaced with alternates.. and we had to bring them up to speed. They only missed 3 days I believe, but the first 3 days are CRAZY!

Angela, at the top of this text box is a smiley face, 2 worlds, then a square. lol Its the square. Although, even on my home computer I cant figure out how to edit it, or remove it. It wont let me edit posts for some reason?!

Im so sad u dont get an orientation!!! Thats insane. Have they just been emailing you info?!

I was told letters go out about 2 weeks before the LVN program begins, so third week of May. However, I was reading through other posts last night and found that last year's letters weren't received until May 31, and the program started June 3! That is RIDICULOUS!!!

Summer, I finally decided to Google TC nursing, and of course, here you are, with all your positive thoughts and encouragement! Lol!

Summer, only contact I've had with LVN is submitting my blue card and receiving my packet with everything in it. It was basically like, "see you June 2." This mama needs more information then that!!

Gosh that sucks! I cant believe they arent giving an orientation. That kinda takes a little away from the WHOLE experience! what the crap man!

IS that an LVN er!!!!! Who is that! Ive only been off here for like 12 hours lol The LVN department really has just given us enough info to get you started on the packet then its see ya in June. I was told once drug test is done, bring it back and Im making sure I have a list of more questions to ask before "relaxing" before the program starts. One question being if they can give me like 3 names of other people in the class lol

Ok, I backtracked and caught up haha, hi Shannon!! You ARE an LVNer, good luck to hearing about the ADN program :) And theres no way to positively say I will be happy if you stay an LVNer, lol but I mean well when I say I hope you stay with meeeeeeee haha

Hey Angela!! You may get to keep me lol... I'm feeling about a 40% chance that I'll get in to ADN. It fits much better with my life and needs right now, but I'll definitely still be SOOO appreciative for the LVN program! I also have a 7 1/2 year old son and 2 year old daughter.. Newly 2, and she sure acts like it! Ha.
