Temecula Valley Hospital New Grad Job Fair April 2013 - Southwest Healthcare System

Published

Hey everyone! I thought it would be helpful to start a new thread for the Temecula Valley New Grad Job Fair that happened today. It didn't seem like there was much information they could give as far as the number of people they would hire, when it would start, or when/if they would be calling people. Anyone get info today that they'd like to share? Then we can all keep each other updated on here. Good luck to us all!

I just got the email to go this Friday! Yay!

Everyone else who got a call or email did you guys get to see what interview score you had received?

Lucky you... great job! What was your interview score?

I didn't see my score....my friend told me that they were scoring us after I was done so I didn't even notice

I'm in SD county and just received an email telling me to go to the online assessment on Friday. The email said that the test was timed and that it would take about an hour.

I forgot to mention I'm in Orange County

I saw my score. It was 12.

Still no call or email for me...Such a depressing day! It's hard seeing you all receive something and not me :( I guess I can say that they will not contact me if they haven't already. I really though my interview went well. Especially receiving a 12...I wonder what could have been wrong.

My friend just got an email about 30 minutes ago and her interview score was a 10. Don't worry....there could be multiple days of this assessment thing....don't give up hope

I think they may be going alphabetically.

Okay, I just got a call! However, I am in a different situation. I graduated in 2011 so I'm not exactly considered a recent grad. The hospital gave a grant for situations like me and offer a 10 week clinical and skills refresher (non-paid). From there, I have an opportunity to get hired for the new grad program for one of the 3 hospitals. I will take that over nothing that's for sure! I am going in for the nursing test on Friday as well :)

Anybody have any idea what this test is about?

I also got an email today to go in on Friday to take the nursing assessment. I called human resources (the number that was provided in the email) to ask what the test entailed. I asked if there was anything I should brush up on such as math or pharmacology, she said that the test will be on material that we should already know. She didn't give me any specifics. Speaking with other New Grad Rn's that work at other hospitals I would review med calculations/pharm/ and scenario/priority type questions.
