Hey everyone! I thought it would be helpful to start a new thread for the Temecula Valley New Grad Job Fair that happened today. It didn't seem like there was much information they could give as far as the number of people they would hire, when it would start, or when/if they would be calling people. Anyone get info today that they'd like to share? Then we can all keep each other updated on here. Good luck to us all!

I was told that I would be contacted next week so I'm assuming they will be contacting us all then!
Oh really? The person I interviewed with asked me if I had any questions but that she didn't know when they would be making calls, or when the program would start....so not to ask her about that It kinda made sense though because I think they were mainly in charge of interviewing and not going to be the ones to actually make the calls so they didn't know. Next week is fast!! Fingers crossed we hear good news next week

When I went in and sat with the lady she said
1) do you live in San Diego or Riverside County: YES
2) Do you attend or did you attend...and listed 3 schools: I said NO
she then said " we are only hiring/interviewing candidates from these 3 schools right now, I will take your resume and I suggest you submit an application online, Thank you." I told her I had applied online the first day it opened, but was hoping to make face to face contact at this career fair, thanked her and left. The same thing happened to a bunch of people. I thought that was strange.
Anyone else this happen too? I was there early in the am too.
Yeah fingers crossed! Yeah I believe HR will be making the calls from what I was told! Hopefully we all hear good news next week!

@jrose17 I didn't go to school at any of the 4 schools, nor do I live in Riverside or SD county. The lady who interviewed me didn't say anything about the fact that I went to school and live outside of the area. Did they interview you?
Jrose that is weird? I live in Orange County and didn't go to any of those 3 schools, but got interviewed anyway. I got there at 7:30a and was about 30th in line so maybe they started weeding people out later on when they saw what a huge turnout they had? hmmmmm...
SandyMickey and Nikki52.
I went in sat down for the interview and those were the first 2 questions I received, she hadnt looked at my resume or anything to judge or make a quick decision. I got there at 830 to get in line, so only thing I can think of is maybe they had more people than they planned on and were already tired of interviewing? I went into interview like 10/1015. Those who came out right before me and right after me told me they got the same questions, including my old classmates.
But best of luck to the rest of you who got an interview.
Anyone know how long the new grad program is? And did anyone else see their scores on their interview sheet?
On the Temecula Valley Hospital page I saw it said the program started May 2013, did anyone confirm this? Also does anyone have information on what floors they will be accepting new grads for?

They told me over 900 new grads applied...and they are looking at hiring 40.
Wow only 40? And is that between all 3 hospitals? Or just for temecula?
