You hear some much negative thoughts about nursing schools. I want to hear some good things that have happened since you started school. I dont think my experince of school is all that bad. I know the exams are very hard and require long hours but there is more to school then just exam's. Let's hear what your positive thoughts are, for a change.:yeah:

you get to learn a lot

you also get to make new friends ,:coollook:

I don't know about everyone else, but the best thing for me is helping people...there is no other feeling like it in the world. Actually taking what you learn in class and labs and bringing it to clinicals and making it all fit together - that is what I love! :redpinkhe

Not only do you get an opportunity to learn alot, make new friends and help others but also to learn alot about yourself and the type of person you are.

... it feels great when it stops!

Going through torture with others really brings you closer. My classmates are a wonderful group that you can lean on and turn to for help.

Just remember--- when it's over---- JOB SECURITY!

... it feels great when it stops!

OMG....!!!

I've been saying that since I started....and I haven't even gotten to my clinicals yet. Though I start them Fall 09.

I keep asking.....When does the hurting stop?!?!:bluecry1:

Learning something every day!!! Think about it ????? The human body is such a wonder I am amazed all the time!!! There is also a light at the end of it all and remember::::: "eye on the prize" - just a thought which I've kept in my head thru many ups and downs---from the best clinical instructor I have had in this journey. Another good thing is showing compassion and support from fellow students(priceless).:nurse:
