I passed with 75 questions using mainly Kaplan, saunders and mariane hogan. If you can't afford Kaplan, then saunders 4th edition is the best

I passed with 75 questions and used:

Helen Feuer review

NCSBN Learning Ext.

1. kaplan Qbank for lpn and BOOK

2. Saunders and CD

3.Lippincott and CD

4.Saunders nclex questions book

5. REA's interactive flashcards

6.Hurst review for lpn

7.Hurst review for RN booklet

8.NCsbn for lpn content review

out of all these kaplan Qbank for me helped to practice question and it the most similar to NCLEX and Saunders for review and easy to understand. I hope this helps.

I took NCLEX-RN last week. Had 242 questions, was sure I failed but found out Friday that I passed. WooHoo!!!!:w00t:

I used:

*Saunders Comprehensive review Third edition (CD)

*and Mostly NCLEXRN 3500 that someone on here suggested http://198.146.4.5/nclexrn3500/mainMenu.do

*and the night before the exam I reviewed Davis's RN Notes, Nurse's clinical pocket guide

I am getting ready to re-test, I thought about suzannes plan, but it seemed too far-fetched, I am not discouraging it, I am pretty sure its good. I just thought that she has her plate full! I did get the Saunder's 4th, Learning Ext. Priority delegation, by Lacharity, nclex 3500. I do the cd on the saunders. I am praying that I pass this time around. Good luck to all who are testing in March/April. Keep us posted and I will do the same.

yeaaaaaaaaaaa!!:yeah:you did it!!!!!!!!!!!

I know a group of students that all used Starting Point and they all not only passed, almost all of them passed with just 75-80 questions. It's only $150 this year because they have a grant to help during this financial crisis.

They give you hours and hours of really interesting audi-recorded content reviews and then a one day Live Review. If you can't attend the Live Review they offer them as telesessions.

They're on the web at www.startingpointRN.com

Pearson's Exam Cram NCLEX w/CD (the big fat one, they have 2, one is more condensed) I used it all through the 2nd year to study for school exams as well, found the level of difficulty and question format to be dead on with the NCLEX, I took it July 15th and passed at 86 q's

Specializes in Med-Surg Tele, Pre-op.

I took NCLEX exactly three months to the day of graduation and received 120 Q's and PASSED!! I studied from:

Saunders Comprehensive Review 4th ed.

Saunders Strategies for Success.

Kaplan Strategies 2010 ed.

Kaplan The RN course book

NCSBN Learning ext. online

Illustrated Study Guide 6th ed.

The NCLEX RN 3500 online was also helpful!
