I am still learning about this exam.
I ask this because I am not a fan of Math, or numbers at all so I know I should expect that to be my downfall.
But I can not find how the exam is actually scored by a simple google search.
I don't even see the option for Louisiana on the ati site.
I expect the people who get a perfect 100% got everything right.
But can someone give me an example of what one would have to score in each subject to get a 60? (even with bad in math) .
Thank you!

The composite score is simply what percentage of all the questions you got correct. That being said there are:
48 reading questions
34 math
54 science
34 English/language usage
(Not all of the questions are scored)
They give you a percent for each section, but the composite, like I said, is just the percent total correct. So hypothetically, since math is only 20% of the total score, you could get zero math questions correct and still get an 80% for your composite (if you got all of the other questions right).
Buy the ATI study manual, it will explain how it's scored, and is pretty on the ball for how hard the test questions will be. It tells you exactly what you will need to know for the exam, no surprises, definitely worth the buy!

Personally, I'm really not great at math. It's easily my weakest subject. However, I scored a 90% on the math section of the TEAS V. I didn't "work out" all of the math, I just used my common sense to eliminate at least two of the possible answers. Just really really read the questions.
Also, I always recommend using the online assessments on the ATI Testing website. It's the closest thing to the real test.

does anyone know if one were to take the teas twice..that colleges would find out if you took it more than once??? even if your score was higher the second time.. i know most colleges want the first score regardless but .. lol

Use the Teas study guide and online assessment. As far as Louisiana I know OLHCC offers it twice a year on campus. Not sure what other school require it.
I have the book and would be willing to mail it to you.

After taking all of the prereqs, I didn't find the teas to be terribly difficult. I didn't score as well as I wanted, but I didn't really study because I was working basically full time as an Lvn at the time. I scored 82. I recommend taking the teas when you are fresh out of school when school is still on your mind.
If I could go Back, I would have purchased and taken the teas practice exams offered by ATI. It also would have helped me if I would have actually used the study guide, rather than simply carrying it around with me everywhere! 😅

Yes because you are required to register under your name on the ATI site prior to taking the test. Colleges will absolutely look at your registration and see how many times you took the test. Also, most colleges want the higher score, not whichever came first.
The colleges that require the TEAS generally have restrictions on taking the test. Mine, for example, said that you could only take the TEAS twice in a 2-year period and they had to be no less than 30 days apart and they only wanted to test with the higher score.
