TEAS Test

I have taken the TEAS test twice now and still have not passed it. I took it on July 15 for the second time. You have to get a 54% in each section where I plan on attending. I got a 53.3% on both Math and Science. I ordered the study guide and have been studying just mainly the Science section. I have one more time to take it and pass it. I don't want to take it a third time because I'm afraid I still won't pass it. I never was good in Science or Biology and I've never taken Chemistry. So a lot of the questions that were on the test I didn't understand. PLEASE HELP!!!!

I had taken it 3 times myself and on each part i scored higher than the last....I didnt even use the study guide the very first time i took it i scored low....i expected that because i didnt know what the questions would be on the test...so what i did was remembered everything that i didnt know or just needed to review from the test as soon as i left out i wrote it down went home looked it up and studied....n the second time i remembered the stuff i didnt rmb the first time i guess that helped me out...to keep scoring higher maybe u could do that just try it...if u rmb some things now write them down...since u only have one tyr left just to see if it would work 4 u.. the school where i applied at goes by the adjusted total individual score, the reading and math scores only...i turned in my app. 7/15/10...so just waiting now!!...

The first time I took it I didn't have the study guide either and I scored a 51.1% in Math and a 46.7% in Science. So my scores did go up the second time around. The class I'm trying to get into starts Aug. 3rd, which is right around the corner. I have my app and everything turned in. It's just trying to pass this test and yesterday was the last test date until Aug. 14th. They are considering scheduling another test date to accommodate me and a few other people the last week of the month. I really hope they do so that I can try to study between now and then and pass it. If not I will have to wait until February.

I was worried about the science portion of the teas test too before I took it. I am a visual learner so reading the ATI book didn't really help me all that much. I decided to rent educational videos that would give me the basics in a way that I could absorb. Netflix has a series called "Understanding Science". Each volume (and I believe there are 6 volumes) teaches you something different. I thought the videos really explained things in a way that was easy to understand. They were a little corny but when I took the teas test I was really prepared and actually scored higher in science than any other area. I hope this helps...Good Luck!

I took it once and didn't score as high as I need to. I do remember lots of the questions, so...you mean to tell me that I will get the same questions next time I take it? that would be great : )
