HI everyone,
I took my TEAS test on saturday. IF you have any questions please feel free to ask since it is still fresh on my mind. 3 tips I can say that will help is time mangement, speed, and ask yourself do I have evidence that supports my answer. I am still waiting for my scores but I don't mind helping others who are wondering for answers.
That's very hard to stay calm when the school is competitive with the TEAS test smh. That's very stressful. I applied too many schools so just in case one school does not accept me I have others to choose. Your welcome! It really won't take long to study for reading and english there quick. Once you get started studying it's maily just reading and understanding. That's great you did the difficult subjects first science and math which take more time.
Yes I am in georgia. I took mine at mercer too.lol. I just got my results today. So check your ATI. I'm sooo scared to know.
Yes I stalked the site and got them lol thank you! I got a 74% overall. My science brought me down as I didn't do well on that part. I think it's enough for the program I'm applying to so I'm happy. I hope you did well :)
That's great you are studying now. I did just like you KDANDREANO, I studied very early! I also used the McGraw Hill. I never heard of the Math for nurses wow I need to go buy this book. Does it help? I suck at math so bad!lol. The reading was tricky due to two answers seem right. However on this section find evidence in the paragraphs to help support why you choose that answer. USE Elimination for answers that don't make sense or you don't see evidence. It's a lot of inferring to come up with the answer and reading between the lines. The anwsers will not jump out at you and you will have to look closely at what the question is asking you. Pay close attention to clues to help you in the sentence. Biology will also help and the only chemistry I had was about convlent boding and ionic bonding. But honestly I wouldn't skip any. Study earth, life, physical science as well. What was on my test with only biology and ap may not be on yours. Although these are the only science that they cover. Far as the Barrons Regents review that is a good question since I did not use this book. If you have heard great reviews on this book yes use it. Honestly I believe any book from high school that covers these topics would greatly help refresh your memory. I would even say review the ACT book. Even though the TEAS test is a lot easier than ACT but it's great to practice with anything that has these topics.
I used the McGraw Hill book for the information source comprehension and it really helped. I also tried typing it in google just to see if it gave me any practice. I had two questions that were like this http://www.atitesting.com/ati_next_gen/FocusedReview/data/datacontext/TEAS%20V%20Study%20Manual%201B1.pdf
