I’m taking the TEAS exam for nursing next week . I have the TEAS book (yellow one ) is the test just like that book ? I been studying the test in the book because it’s so much . Has anyone taking the TEAS test this year and how is it . Will I be OK :prepared if I know the test in the book ? Abs I’m taking it at home online the proctor I believe how does this work ? Any insight please I’m  nervous abs need to pass this

I took the test failed horribly. I studied so much material from the website (Orange book to the yellow book to the quizlett) out of all I studied only meant 6 Questions was actually on the test. Feel like I was set up for failure not knowing exactly what to study to Actually studying  material that was not even on the test. Now I have to retake it and Im worried that it’s going to be the total opposite of what I still have been studying

Hi. I’m sorry to hear that. What exactly was on your test that you’re saying it was opposite of what you have studied? Did you read Mometrix book, or purchased any sources from ATI website?

You and I both babe! I studied the yellow mometrix book from front to back! I go take the TEAS and failed sooo badly! Then I get on here and asked ppl what they used and etc. how about someone posted my WHOLE TEAS EXAM document! I’m talkin word for word! Now I’m scared honestly! Cuz this is my last shot or else I have to wait a whole other semester to try again!

It’s crazy . Feel like we get set up for failure by not getting the correct material. I don’t know what to study now and it’s my last chance as well

I read the mometrix book! It was the norm reading writing math and science! But it just wasn’t the same type of questions! But I passed the reading with a 66 out of 77 so that’s not bad!  But everything else I failed! Then math I couldn’t use no calculator at all so that made it worse! The science section was long, a little bit of everything.

VeraG I bought the orange book OK the ATI TEAS website and paid for both the practice exam . Nothing in that orange book was on the test and the yellow book I bought maybe 5 questions out the book in science was on the test. I have no Clue what to study or if it even makes sense to study if Its gonna be the total opposite of what I study. Last chance for a retake

Sorry to hear that again. Hopefully once you retake you will pass. When is your retake scheduled?

I am sorry to hear that it was so hard for you, too! Don't get down. I thought it was extremely difficult to figure out what to study, which is why I bought all the ATI materials, used quizlets, and the Mometrix book. Not sure why you couldn't use a calculator though. You should be able to and the icon was in the upper right corner of my exam -- looked like a tiny graphic of a calculator and when you clicked on it it popped up to a full size calc. I posted the quizlets because after my exam I noticed how similar they were to my test and thought they might help people out. You've got this. Let us know if we can help...
