The TEAS is like a standardized test. I scored an 80 on mine which is pretty high. I used mcgraw hills teas 5 book to study and the ATI teas study guide plus I purchased a sample test. The sample test REALLY helped, however, study before you take that test. I'd say I studied a week and a half before my actual test and then spent the last three days taking sample tests from the McGraw hill book and sample ATI test. Good luck!

I'm working on the ATI study guide now. It comes with two practice tests and you can purchase two additionally that you do online. I did the first one that comes with the book to guage where I'm at. Now I'm studying and then will take the last one out the book, then do the two online ones prior to my exam.

It's standard testing from courses you probably took in high school or may have had to take as remedial courses in college (like me.) I scored in the 99th percentile but that was only because I aced the English/Reading portion. I'm not that great at math and science. I would say to study strong on the things you are not that great at. It's college level algebra, basic life sciences, some chemistry, and English/Reading comprehension. Your college may have said you only have to "pass it", but believe me, your score matters. Strive to do really well, not just pass. Good luck!

I waited till I was midway through my A&P 2 class and already had chemistry, College Algebra and some Micro under my belt. Honestly, if it wasn't for A&P and Chemistry I would not have scored an 82. Get a book from ATI's site and study, study, study. As far as I am aware your score ALWAYS matters. It'll be one of the things that says you are a better fit for the program than someone else. However, the program I am in is very competitive, so maybe yours isn't as competitive?

Hey everyone! I'm studying the for the TEAS exam and I wanted some suggestions. Do you guys think that the practice tests in the ATI book are similar to the actual exam?
I'm doing all of the practice tests for each section and then focusing on the ones I missed.
Thanks
Thanks for the help

I'm not sure, I ordered the book without the tests and just studied for everything. Review. mainly, because this is stuff you have probably already been taught. Chemistry trips me up, as does math. You'll do fine, don't stress too much. You don't need a perfect score, just a good score.

QUESTION:
Do you need to memorize all of the specific measurements for math/chemistry like 1cm = 0.394 inches, 1 gallon = 3.785, 1 yard = 0.914m and ect ????

No, they provided me with all of my conversions in the math section.

They are pretty similar. The format is exactly the same. I took the written version of the TEAS V exam and some questions were exactly the same. I'd also suggest purchasing the online tests those help a lot as well. Good luck! :)
