Hello everyone!!! I know, a little early. I just can't wait for application period to come around. Currently taking a Chemistry course to boost my GPA some. Looking to hear from other future applicants. Go FROGS!

Yahoo y'all! Got an invite. Finally! Sept 15th date. I truly believe in God's plan...if y'all didn't get an invite this round, I know there is something out there for you.

Yay for you 10acious! I wonder why it took so much longer! I would've cried lol

Still haven't heard anything either way. Anyone think I should call them? Or just wait.

It says on the website you should hear about interviews by August.

If you haven't gotten an email by Monday I'd call them.

Thank you anurse1! Trust me...I was an internal mad woman :banghead:Thank you!

Cfccrn...yes call! What's the worst that can happen..they say "no because you bothered the secretary"? I left a voice mail message this morning @ 0806 regarding not having received any notice (positive or negative) and I got my email at 0909! I have a friend that has yet to hear anything as well. Not sure what the hold up is, but worth looking into - for your sanity alone!

So does everyone here agree that the pre-interview assessment is the only assessment we have to do? After re-reading the email it still seems to me that on the day of the interview there will be an online assessment as well. Anyone who has experienced the interview process in the past please help me out! I could be totally wrong here. Has anyone taken the pre-interview assessment yet that was accepted for an interview?

I was told they've had some issues this year due to a staffing change.

I haven't taken the assessment yet, but current students have told me there is only one assessment

What kinds of issues?

For those of you who did get an interview and have friends/know people who have graduated from the program, does anyone have any idea what the pre-interview assessment consists of? I want to be sure and study up before taking it if it's clinical based. Also does anyone know what the online assessment on the day of the interview consists of?
Last year, there was only one pre-interview assessment. We took it at home. No pre-interview assessment on campus. It was by Pearson Vue. The only thing I can compare the pre-interview assessment to is an IQ test. It tests your ability to manipulate objects in space, decipher anagrams, locate words of a specifc length but they are surrounded by random letters, and perform simple math. The test is timed which really stressed me out. The exam contained significantly more questions than I could complete due to these time contraints. The exam ended with a 'personality test', but the questions were difficult. You're asked to agree or disagree with controversial statements like "In certain situations, one needs to cut corners to get things done." The exam strongly encourages you to be honest and supposively has a built in algorithm to assess for inconsistencies. For what it's worth, I felt awful about the pre-interview assessment especially the anagram/word location and was still accepted with a 3.49 GPA (2 Cs) and 3yrs experience at a large hospital in Dallas.

Congrats again to everyone who got an interview.

Well at one point they thought my application was incomplete but it wasn't. They called right away and apologized. They told me that they lost some staff that used to handle that and hired some new people. Not really an issue just new staff.
