Hello everyone!!! I know, a little early. I just can't wait for application period to come around. Currently taking a Chemistry course to boost my GPA some. Looking to hear from other future applicants. Go FROGS!
The less applicants the better! Its definitely a competitive applicant pool no matter what. I was under the impression that they accepted 55-65 but I am not sure. I think they apply for a certain amount of spots and then they have to get approved. Has anyone heard that there are clinical questions during the interview?

I've heard they only ask clinical questions if they feel you are exaggerating about your ICU experience. Also, I think you're right about the 55-65 class size. That's what their website states, anyway.

According to the stats posted its been about 4 years since they've graduated a class above 55.
Hi there!I received my Interview Acceptance for September 8th! I'm super excited, but really nervous!
I have already completed the online assessment. First half is the timed tests...just brain games like an IQ test. Second half is a 110 question personality test.
I am from the DFW area and have been dreaming of going to TCU's program since the start of nursing school! Good luck to everyone!
Hoping that the folks taking the early interviews would enlighten those of us taking later interviews. Things may change between now and then but I feel fairly relaxed about things.
Anyone else interviewing on 15 Sep willing to meet up? I've never been on the TCU campus before so we'd have to figure things out.

Website states they accept 55-65. Last time they accepted above 55 was 2012. Obviously their attrition rate is what changes the accepted number to the graduated number. But it looks like we can count on at least 53-ish being accepted.

True. But there is fine print on what is considered "attrition". The FAQ page states that the class size is ultimately determined by clinical site availability.
Does anyone know for sure, on average, how many are interviewed?
I don't have an answer to your specific question but I've heard there are 100 interviewed applicants for the 55-65 positions. That would compute to four 8-hr days (not counting lunch and restroom breaks) with 20 minutes per candidate. So maybe 90 candidates.

Absolutely right, who knows. But we'll find out soon enough!
