  1. Spent less than $100 on a JcPenney skirt suit, was offered admission at every CRNA school I applied to and every RN job I interviewed for. I feel more confident in a skirt, but pants would also work. I wore one inch heels, also helps with the confidence. Blazer with a blouse under that had a pop of color. Minimal make up, hair in either a bun or low pony tail. Stud earrings. I had already spent hundreds just to get the interview, hundreds to get to the interview, there's no way I was spending $900 on a suit.
  2. I'm currently an RRNA at TCU in the online portion. During my interview I was honest and said I had applied to 3 other places, because becoming a CRNA was my dream, but that TCU was my first choice. No one made it seem like that was an issue, and clearly I was still accepted. I think it's important to show that you care about where you attend, but that you want to be a CRNA so bad that you are willing to invest the time and money to broaden your options. Good luck!
  3. 309. 155 verbal, 154 quantitative, 4.0 writing.
  4. Probably TCU, I'm from Texas but have family in Chicago.
  5. I'm 90% sure I'm going to haha.
  6. Looks like Rush will be going through their alternate list this year, haha.
  7. Well you're already committed to RF, right? I wouldn't waste more money when you pretty much have already made your decision. I'm pretty much 50/50 haha. My fiancée is basically the one making the decision because it's based on where he has the most promise for a job, so we're figuring that out. I'm fine with either place.
  8. Definitely in the same boat! I can't believe I got in to three schools. I applied to multiple places hoping I would just be accepted to one! I would go with your gut; it's usually right haha. Obviously we'll be fine at either place and are super lucky to even be having this problem.
  9. That's so frustrating. The only thing that I can think to say is that this may just be a sign that TCU isn't a good fit for you. It's just as important that a school be a good fit for the applicant, as it is for the applicant to be a good fit for the school, ya know?
  10. Why do you feel that Rush doesn't provide good clinical experience?
  11. You should call or email them and ask what you can improve on! In my interview they said they're always happy to talk to applicants about that.
  12. I've only found a couple things and both were good, but there isn't much info on here about Rush. Definitely nothing that turned me off about RF, I was so impressed with the program. It made me a little sad to withdraw. But, the location is just so isolated, and I'll be moving with a significant other that will need to work in the city. Plus, the ranking of Rush is hard to ignore haha even though I realize that doesn't hold much weight.
  13. I ended up withdrawing my spot at Rosalind Franklin but I'm still deciding between Rush and one other school. Why do they hate the program at Rush? That makes me really nervous! I haven't heard anything about RF except things on here, but they all seem to like it. I just wanted somewhere more central to the city.
