Hey everyone! I got my interview invitation for 15 September. I'm really excited and nervous. Its not over yet. I always tell people in reference to CRNA programs that getting in is the 'easy' part; staying in is the hard part.

Hi there!

I received my Interview Acceptance for September 8th! I'm super excited, but really nervous!

I have already completed the online assessment. First half is the timed tests...just brain games like an IQ test. Second half is a 110 question personality test.

I am from the DFW area and have been dreaming of going to TCU's program since the start of nursing school! Good luck to everyone!

That assessment was kinda fun! I just tried to be as honest as possible. I'm curious if they bring up the results in the interview.

Has anyone tried taking the assessment on a Mac? Any issues?

Took mine on a Mac, no problem. Just make sure you allow pop ups.

What did you guys think of the assessment?

I wonder how many people they interview, and for how many spots? Does anybody have an idea?

I believe they take 65-75 and I've heard they interview 200 or so candidates

Not for sure on the number interviewed but just basing off of previous class sizes

Four days of interviews for 200 applicants, 50 interviews a day. 2 twenty minute sessions for each person. That would be 33 hours of interviewing applicants each day. Granted 2 sessions can go on at the same time, that is still 16 hours. Unless they have 4 panels of staff, which would still be 8 straight hours a day. I still think 200 interviews is a lot. Haha just trying to make myself feel better in hopes there is not that many interviews for a set number of spots.

I definitely get the logic

It just seems like it would be easier to rank everyone based on their stats and take the top 75 if you're interviewing to take 1 out of every 2 people you interview (given a pool of 150 which seems like a more manageable applicant pool to interview)

Who knows!
