TCU CRNA program for Jan 2018

Nursing Students SRNA

Published

Hello,

I am working on submitting my application for the TCU CRNA program 2018. Anyone else applying? Seems like TCU has a pretty good program. Does anyone have any insight on how the clinical sites are assigned? Or how likely it is for the clinical sites to be changed once awarded on your acceptance letter?

JwOkStRN are you in the program or affiliated with the program or how do you know this?

Specializes in Neuro-Trauma ICU.

My facility is a primary clinical site and we have nurses from my unit who have applied and been accepted. Additionally, I have personal experience with their application and announcement process.

I've been told by two current students, both of whom were last minute applicants there is no need to worry.

I am an applicant as well and the time couldn't possibly go any slower. Does anyone know how soon after interviews they release admission decisions?

I'm terribly anxious to hear back as well; applied to TCU probably sometime in the middle of March or April. It was one of four programs that I applied to. Have already interviewed for one program; however, have not heard back from any of the others. The suspense is killer. I wish everyone the best of luck.

For all the people wondering when we will here back for an interview, this was taken directly from TCU's website:

"DNP-A application deadlines: July 1st for class beginning the next year. Completed early applications will be given preference for

interviews. Interviewees will be notified by August 1. Interview dates for 2017 are August 22, 24, 29 and 31. Candidates

will be notified of admission status by October 1st. Apply online today at www.applyweb.com/tcug/."

Got my application in a couple weeks ago. From all I've seen and heard it take about two weeks before you hear back, but as someone else posted they have until August 1 to make their decision on interviews. Good luck to all! I applied to the Abilene clinical site, anyone else apply to a distance site?

I applied for the Houston site, maybe being an offsite will have an advantage to application. Guess time will tell.

I applied for El Paso, since I'm from the area. Best of luck to everyone!

Sorry for the late reply. I am not getting thread notification on my e-mail for some reason.

I turned in everything by Mar 20th, received e-mail regarding copy of CCRN score.

May 12th, I received interview offer letter via e-mail. I responded immediately with confirmation of the date and time and 1 day after EQ assessment e-mail came through..

I hope this help! I've applied to DFW clinical sites.
