TCC Spring 2016 Applicants

I hope it's not too early to start a thread for those who are planning to apply to TCC this summer for Spring 2016. I will be applying with one A and two B's. I'm getting ready for my HESI test and I hope to get a good score. For those who have applied before, has anyone ever been accepted with one A.? I'm hopeful and also nervous. So let's get the ball rolling, and help encourage each other.

I am trying to make an appointment with Mrs.Aultman or in this matter any adviser: nobody picking up telephone , nobody returned messages, nobody replied emails... What is going on? Are you able to contact anybody at College?

I'll be applying this August also!!! In so excited! But I only have a 89.5 hesi .. But a 4.0 science GPA... So we shall see...

Getting my second varicella shot tomorrow and then probably headed to apply on Thursday. I'm so nervous and sad we won't hear anything until Sept.! I'll let you guys know if I get any interesting information when turning in my application.

I think with a 4.0 and a 89.5 you're basically in :) Only thing that would make that not so is if the application pool is weirdly flooded with really amazing applicants.

I will be applying next week, waiting on my varicella titer! I will be applying with 3 A's in my sciences and an 88.5 on HESI. Best of luck to us all!!

Can you guys please help me? I need to know what math requirement is needed to apply at TCC. I started my school journey in 2007 and life got in the way and now have to re-do my sciences (except Chemistry..yay for the new rules) and I KNOW there is a math requirement but I can't figure out what it is.

I stopped by the advising office at TCC NW yesterday and they are about as useless as can be. The lady didn't know there was a math requirement, much less which math I was supposed to take. She just gave me info that I already looked at online.

I have tried to call the Nursing Advising office but no one answers.

I took Math 0350 Intermediate Algebra but my understanding is that is not the correct math...that is like a remedial math.

Please help!

For TCC remedial math is the only required math to take. Or score high enough on the entrance TSI to not need it. So you've taken all the math you need already :)

Just an update. I turned in my application. Took about 30seconds haha. She was very nice! Said my grades were good and seemed happy I was organized. That's about it.

Hello everyone! I applied last Friday. I scored a 70% on my HESI and have a 3.4 GPA!

Its going to be a long wait for October to me!

You have to score at least 75 on Hesi to get in.
