I hope it's not too early to start a thread for those who are planning to apply to TCC this summer for Spring 2016. I will be applying with one A and two B's. I'm getting ready for my HESI test and I hope to get a good score. For those who have applied before, has anyone ever been accepted with one A.? I'm hopeful and also nervous. So let's get the ball rolling, and help encourage each other.

I think that you have a great chance of getting in with your scores. If I were you, i would not be worried. I talked to Katherine and she told me to try and get above 90% on Hesi, and may be I can have a shot. Anyway, I think I will retake my A&P II in fall. But I'm keeping my fingers crossed. With two A's and a 92.5% on Hesi, I think that you have a great shot. I will be re-taking my one B, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I talked to Katherine and she told me to try and get above 90% on Hesi and I will have a shot. Good luck

wildearth; Oh good luck! I'll keep you in my thoughts that day. My titers I believe only took 4 business days but it definitely does vary! I used the typical Hesi assessment book...well, that's what I bought anyway and never opened -_-'' I took the hesi a semester early just to get a feel for it and didn't do too badly so I'm sticking with that this time around haha. Study the drawing conclusions portion as odd as it sounds.

jothos200; Study hard! The math was all fractions and ratios as well is very basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Grammar was generally go with what sounded best and the vocab wasn't horrible either. ^-^ Best of luck to you, I'm rooting for you!

Just an update for everyone waiting. I emailed Ms. Aultman about not seeing the updated information on the website (because I'm kind of OCD like that ;) and she responded right away.

Here's what she said:

The web manager hasn't posted it yet, it had some last minute changes, so it will be up hopefully by 5 or 6 tonight.

Hey, good luck to all of you guys. I know it be nerve wrecking at first, but you guys should all be good on acceptance.

I applied last Spring, but I'm currently on the alternative's list, and was told by Katherine to go ahead and reapply..Hopefully I can make an A in A&P :p

Has anyone RSVP'd to an information session? I'll be going to the one on July 7th. How long are the sessions usually?

I had a 3.33 GPA with an A on the HESI. As for the information session, it's not required. You can simply review the PDF that's available online.
