TCC Spring 2016 Applicants

Nursing Students School Programs

I hope it's not too early to start a thread for those who are planning to apply to TCC this summer for Spring 2016. I will be applying with one A and two B's. I'm getting ready for my HESI test and I hope to get a good score. For those who have applied before, has anyone ever been accepted with one A.? I'm hopeful and also nervous. So let's get the ball rolling, and help encourage each other.

Can someone verify the book recommended for studying? Is it the one called Admission Assessment Exam Review 3E?

Yes, that's the book. I am using the same book too.

I had a 3.33[

Hey christinaameh, I'm a little worried now, I have the same GPA. Did you have only one A.?

It looks like you no longer need to submit the flu shot upon application. That's good news. So I'll be applying right after I get my second varicella shot near the end of the month. I'm terrified now. Haha. I also won't be doing an information session. Looks like it's just telling us how to apply. I think I have everything. But if anyone goes tell us what you learn haha.

Your thread has been moved to the Nursing Schools and Colleges forum where the other school specific discussions are. We hope you will receive additional responses in this new location.

So the Information Session this morning was basically over the PowerPoint presentation, but it was nice to hear the application process from Ms. Aultman herself. :) Her suggested scores are a 4.0 and 90% on the HESI. She said that would basically guarantee you acceptance. But she also said that someone was admitted last semester with a C and 96 on the HESI, so there's hope if your grades are lower and you kill the HESI!

Hi everybody. I'll be joining you guys and stressing about getting accepted into the nursing program. I'll be applying with 2 A's and a B in my science classes and a 93% on my HESI. Fingers crossed it's good enough. Good luck to all and hope to see all of you in class in the spring

@jothos200 sorry for the late reply, but yes. Every pool is different, but as of last year, they are unable to tell applicants what scores were accepted.

The only information given is that there are 150 seats, 20 alternatives, and everyone else is rejected.

Thanks Christinaameh. Im going to keep my fingers crossed and also hopefully do well on Hesi test. Last time when you applied, did you have only one A.?

Hey brigitteturner. I think you have a shot. I know it's nerve wracking. Best wishes.

Yeah, but don't worry about it. I received notice last week of my acceptance into Fall of 2015
