TCC Spring 2015 Applicants

Published

I am planning on applying to TCC for their nursing program in the spring of 2015. I still have to take all of my science pre-requisites this summer and fall. I would love input on which teachers to take for those classes, which two classes would be the best to take together, tips for the HESI or any other helpful info. Look forward to hearing from others!

Clinical is all day from 630am to 630pm. My theory is at 1 to 315 and skills from 9 to noon. Hybrid theory is 3 weeks on campus and after the first test online. It rotates after every test fin what I was told but don't quote me on that one I'll know more after orientation.

Ok thanks! I'm excited/ nervous! I hope I get in. I'm applying with 4.0 and 92 on hesi... I'm retaking hesi in aug to see if I can get higher. I would be happy to get it up to like a 95.

I don't think you will have an issue with your current score. Good luck!

Thank you and thanks for all your help. :)

I hope I get in. I have a 4.0 Science GPA and an 86 HESI, 86.5 to be exact. Does anyone know if they round up?

I agree. I don't think you need to retake the hesi. I have an 88 on it and I'm thinking of retaking it but from what I've heard everyone with a 88 or above has gotten in.

I will be applying with a 4.0 and 94 HESI.

Hi, I'm pre nursing at tcc, first year in college. Just wanted to know what to be looking forward to. Met with nursing advisor and I heard some classes will be no longer required. Does anyone know anything?

I hear Chemistry will not longer be required to apply to the nursing program for anyone who applies after spring 2015. Pretty sure it is still required for BSN tho so I would knock it out anyways.

Just applied. 4.0 GPA and 94.5 on HESI. Was told by nursing advising that I do not need to retake HESI. So now we wait. :)

That's awesome! Congrats! :) September is going to be the longest month ever!

Hi All,

I just finished my HESI test today with a 90.5% and will be applying with a 3.5 GPA. Hopefully these scores will be enough to get me in the program! Good luck to everyone! I will be cheering for us all! :nurse:
