I am starting this for anyone who is applying for the TCC RN program in August.

That's the one I bought too... What color did you picked? Mine is pink, I love PINK!

I bought the rainbow one - I love it!!

Also, I wanted to see what y'all thought about these shoes? My husband and I have been going to all different stores looking and I think these are the best. I know they're not solid white, but they're white enough - and the silver is not as dark as this picture shows it. It's very light.

I really like them but not for working at a hospital. I wouldn't want to wear shoes with laces bc of any fluids being absorb by it... Same thing with the little holes. What if they tell you that you can't wear them bc of not being solid white? You can always wear them with other clothes bc they are really nice.

I've got to have laces and super support - I'm working on a stress fracture in my left foot and the more snug I can make my shoes the better. Laces wash and are easy to replace. I've yet to try these on, just seen them at a couple of stores, so they very well may not work once I get them on (I generally HATE Nikes). Under Armour are my favorites but I can't find any in solid white, although I did find a camoflauge pair that I have to get. hehehe Honestly these shoes are my biggest obstacle! :lol2:

i cant wear Nikes. Period. my feet do not take well to them, after breaking my right ankle twice in highschool and fractured my foot while playing lacrosse, it hasnt been the same. even though i already have my crocs, im still looking for another pair of shoes, but i have a raised arch on my right foot which makes it difficult. you should check out academy sports, i went today and they have lots of white leather sneakers

I feel ya txhusker - I tore most of the ligaments in my left foot a few years ago and it never healed properly (I hated the boot LOL) and now I have a stress fracture in that foot as well so I need GOOD shoes. That's why I don't mind spending the money on them if they're worth it. :-)

am freaking out especially being an international student and have not been cleared to register :( only a day left. should we seat and wait or just call the nursing department. Was there on Thursday and didn't meet anyone to talk too. haven't received any mail on campus cruiser or any call.:confused:

what next..
