LOL! I wonder how many people will join. If there is a good chance of winning I might sign on up! haha . I'm gonna have to leave the house pretty early to try and get there by 7:30.

I was already planning on joining, but just for 1 year to start. They put up a pretty good pitch at WC orientation. I really want to get to do some volunteer stuff if possible.

I loved this shoes! I need your opinion, do you think they are acceptable? http://store.jensscrubs.com/product_p/wultdawg.htm
I really like those. I'd be curious about how supportive they are, since they are a great price. Shoes are my current stumbling block.
Student- I would.join for the volunteering opportunities if I had the time. Which I really wish I did..
Cross- I thought you were getting the Dansko? I tried they on a while ago and they are supposed to slip off your heel. I'm just gonna stick with my Crocs until I find some other ones.

@Cross, I was wondering the same thing! I need really good shoes because my back is a mess I kind of like this one too... http://store.jensscrubs.com//ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=WPRO%2DDAWG

I wanted to love the Dansko, but I didn't. :-( I didn't feel secure in them, if that made sense . . . like my feet could fall out of them at any time at which point I would fall, and that's the last thing I need! LOL What I REALLLLLLY want is for Under Armour to make some solid white running shoes and I'd be a happy girl. Those are the shoes that I literally wear probably 75% of the time, with Toms being the other 25%. The UA just have amazing support and they are flexible and breathe well. But I've yet to find any that would work.

Y'all better report back after orientation for those of us following this thread who will hopefully be a sememster or two behind you! :sofahider
I'm so excited for you guys!!!!
Cross - you read my mind. I have been looking all the place for solid white UA or Saucony shoes to wear. *Sigh* My aunt has those sketchier shape ups. she says they're really comfortable. but they loom kinda weird to me! lol
I'm currently volunteering, but I was thinking about quitting this week because I wanted to have all my time for nursing and my family. I just go one day a week for 4 hours... The good thing is that I got my tb and flu shots for free as well as the CPR classes. Why do you think it might be a good idea to volunteer once you are in the program already?
I was referring.to what student said about volunteer opportunities with the TSNA. If I had the time to volunteer in any of there events I would.
I canNOT walk in those! LOL I bought the Reebox EasyTones and they made my feet go numb so I won't go that route again. Also, I wear a 10 so finding comfortable shoes is not always the easiest task, which is generally why when it comes to athletic shoes I buy mens. Much better.
oh my God we have the same shoe size! hahaha!!!
